As a college student, my spending budget tends to be very tight. When my mom told me she wanted this book months ago, I researched it and discovered that most people ask for over $100 for it and I wasn't able to afford it... But when this copy came out, I bought it and when it was presented to my mom--she cried! I knew she wanted this book for a long time, but I didn't realize it would bring her this much joy, it was definitely worth the buy!It's bigger and heavier than I expected it to be (over a foot long and wide), but it was beautifully done and the size helps to portray Leonardo da Vinci's art on a larger perspective than a standard-sized book could ever hope to capture.
